Cloudbeds integration for hotel websites.
Cloudbeds is the right PMS + booking engine for most independent hotels under 100 rooms. All-in-one, modern API, clean widget SDK, and a rate calendar that behaves. We’ve built on Cloudbeds enough times to know where the friction is and where it isn’t. Vendor-agnostic advice, no commission on your engine choice.
What ships in a Cloudbeds integration
- Widget SDK embed styled against your design system so the rate calendar feels part of the site, not a bolted-on iframe. Room list, room detail, rate selection, guest details, and confirmation all render inside your brand.
- Rate calendar + minimum-night rules surfaced honestly. Seasonal availability visible at a glance; no dead-ends on sold-out dates.
- Package builder tied to Cloudbeds’ add-on module for F&B, spa, activities, and transfer bundles with attach-at-booking pricing.
- GA4 booking funnel wiring: room_view, rate_view, guest_details_start, booking_confirmed, tagged by property, source, and cart value. So you can watch the direct-share needle after launch.
Implementation timeline
Cloudbeds integration is part of a full build. Independent band builds run 6 to 10 weeks; Cloudbeds integration lands in weeks 5-8 and gets tested against your live rate strategy in weeks 9-10 before launch. Standalone Cloudbeds re-integration on an existing site (no rebuild) is 3 to 5 weeks and £4,500-£8,000 depending on scope.
Cloudbeds vs Mews, honestly
Cloudbeds is right for independents under 100 rooms who want an all-in-one PMS + booking engine + channel manager. Not right if you need heavy corporate rate management, group block workflows past 12-15 properties, or GDS distribution beyond the basics. Mews handles those better. We’ve built on both.
Booking engines we integrate with
Vendor-agnostic. No commission on your choice.
We integrate with most major booking engines. If your property is on a vendor not listed here, we’ll work with it or tell you why we wouldn’t.
Or your existing vendor. Opera and enterprise stacks scoped separately.
Sister brands, one operator
Ongoing hotel SEO retainer, metasearch bidding, Google Hotel Ads, paid social, and hospitality email marketing go to our sister brand Marketing The Change. Non-hospitality builds (a friend running a plumbing shop, a solicitor’s site) go to our sister brand Liverpool Web Designers, build-only, no retainer. Same operator behind all three shops. Different jobs, different specialists.
FAQs
Common questions.
Is WordPress the right stack for a hotel?
For 90% of independent hotels, boutique properties, B&Bs, and small groups, yes. WordPress with Elementor gives your marketing coordinator control without needing a developer. Enterprise groups on Opera or custom PMS/CRS stacks get scoped separately.
Can you integrate our existing booking engine?
Almost certainly. Cloudbeds, SiteMinder, Mews, Little Hotelier, WebRezPro, RoomRaccoon, and Guestline are the majors we ship regularly. If you’re on something more unusual, tell us on the discovery call and we’ll say honestly whether it’s viable.
Do you take a commission on our booking engine choice?
No. Vendor-agnostic is the whole point. We don’t take reseller commission from any booking engine, PMS, or CRS. If your existing engine is wrong for the property, we’ll say so.
What direct-share uplift can we realistically expect?
For independent hotels, bespoke web + integration + on-page CRO typically shifts direct share from around 35% to around 50% in year one. This is the honest number. It is not OTA replacement.
Do we have to take the support plan?
No. The support plan is optional and cancel any time. £150 per property per month for Independent, £350 for Boutique, £800 for Group. Backups, updates, uptime, booking engine health, monthly analytics readout.
What about ongoing hotel SEO?
On-page hotel SEO ships at launch with every build. Ongoing SEO retainer goes to our sister brand Marketing The Change. Different job, different specialist.
Do you own our site after launch?
You do. IP transfers on final payment. If you want to move host later, we’ll help you migrate at no extra cost within the first 12 months.
